Social media figure Linus Ifejirika, widely known as Blord, has been ordered into custody at Kuje Prison by a Federal High Court in Abuja over claims that he impersonated activist Martins Otse, also called VeryDarkMan (VDM). He was remanded after appearing before the court and is likely to remain in detention throughout the Easter period.
VDM shared a video on Wednesday capturing the moment Blord was escorted from the courtroom to the correctional facility. He added that the influencer is facing several charges, including impersonation and forgery. The activist further alleged that Blord falsified flight tickets using his name, claimed he paid him N500 million as a brand ambassador, and created promotional materials such as billboards and flyers featuring his image without consent.
In his words: “Linus Williams Ifejirika, also known as Blord, has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre for 26 days, meaning he will spend Easter in custody. He was arraigned on April 1, 2026, at the Federal High Court in Abuja on multiple charges. As earlier stated, he allegedly forged flight tickets bearing my name, Martins Otse, and claimed I was scheduled to travel to Onitsha for the launch of his Blunt Gadget app.”
