
King Charles III has revealed his surprising musical taste, confessing that Davido’s song “Kante” is one of his favorites. He’s also expressed his love for the pidgin language, even going as far as saying he’d like to speak it during his upcoming visit to Nigeria.
“Kante” is a track from Davido’s 2023 album Timeless, featuring Fave. The song’s theme revolves around a burning love that overwhelms the melodies, creating a beautiful rhythm. King Charles has added “Kante” to his personal playlist for Commonwealth Day, available exclusively on Apple Music.Music holds a special place in King Charles’ heart, as he believes it can evoke memories and bring people together. His love for pidgin English is also evident, having used phrases like “God don butter my bread” and “If life dey show you pepper, my guy, make pepper soup” during a visit to Lagos, Nigeria.
