The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has summoned Nigerian artist Darlington Okoye, known as Speed Darlington, to appear at its national headquarters in Abuja on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 9 a.m.
The agency is seeking clarification over a viral Instagram live session in which the singer allegedly claimed to have engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl at a hotel.

In a letter dated May 28, NAPTIP stated that the alleged act, if confirmed, constitutes a breach of the Trafficking in Persons Prohibition Enforcement and Administration Act of 2015.
The agency urged Speed Darlington to comply with the summons to avoid the possibility of further enforcement actions.
