Prominent music executive Soso Soberekon has proposed a 500 million Naira sum to singer Peter Okoye to participate in a celebrity boxing bout against his twin brother, Paul Okoye. The proposal was extended on Sunday evening while Peter was performing live on stage.
Video clips making the rounds online captured Soberekon standing in the audience and holding up his mobile phone toward the artist to present the multi-million Naira incentive. The message typed across his screen stated, “500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match. “This gesture follows ongoing friction and public rift between the former P-Square duo, who have faced multiple fallout episodes since their separation. The situation recently intensified after Peter publicly alleged that Paul and their older brother, Jude Okoye, misappropriated music royalties belonging to the group.
