A video has surfaced showing Abia Federal Representative Alex Ikwechegh physically assaulting a delivery driver. The footage, recorded by the victim, captures Mr. Ikwechegh slapping the driver twice and boasting of his ability to detain and silence him without consequences.

The altercation began when the driver requested Mr. Ikwechegh to receive a package outside his Maitama, Abuja residence, which the lawmaker deemed disrespectful. Mr. Ikwechegh expected the driver to deliver the package inside his compound.

The situation escalated into a heated dispute when the driver refused to comply, leading to verbal and physical aggression from Mr. Ikwechegh. Despite remaining calm, the driver was attacked after seeking payment for his services.

At the time of reporting, Mr. Ikwechegh has not publicly addressed the incident.
