The Zone 16 Command in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has apprehended six individuals implicated in various illicit activities, including internet fraud, car theft, and diabolical ritual practices. According to SP Emonena Gunn, the Zonal Police Relations Officer, the suspects were arrested by the Zonal Anti-Money Laundering/Countering Financing Terrorism team, led by CSP Isaac Uhawha, at the Progress Estate in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The six suspects, identified as Emmanuel Chinedu, Uche Darlington Mark, Micah Douglas, Stephen Martins, Jack Prosper, and Shimkayah Oju Ibor, hail from various states, including Anambra, Abia, and Rivers. Their arrest marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime and ritual activities in the region.

The Zone 16 Command’s operation demonstrates its commitment to tackling illicit activities and ensuring public safety. The arrested suspects will face further investigation and prosecution for their alleged crimes.
