The family of renowned musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face or 2baba, has sought the intervention of the Department of State Service (DSS) regarding the singer’s disappearance. A petition has been filed by the family, expressing concern over 2face’s whereabouts.
Earlier, 2face’s mother, Rose Idibia, had made a public appeal to Natasha Osawaru Igbinedion, the singer’s new partner, to release her son from her perceived control. Rose Idibia claimed that her son was not in his right mind due to his ongoing divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.
The family’s petition comes after 2face was reported missing for over 72 hours. His last known whereabouts were in his loungewear. The singer has been in the news lately due to his separation from Annie Idibia and his newfound romance with Natasha Osawaru.
2face recently confirmed his relationship with Natasha on Instagram, stating that he loves her and intends to marry her. He denied that Natasha was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage to Annie, claiming that they had an understanding.
In a subsequent post, 2face shared a photo of Natasha, asking Nigerians to help him convince her to marry him. He affectionately referred to her as his “world.” A video of 2face proposing to Natasha also surfaced online, showing the moment he presented her with an engagement ring.
