Shakira Rushed to Hospital Due to Abdominal Problems, Concert Cancelled

Colombian singer Shakira has been hospitalized due to abdominal issues that arose on Saturday night. The 48-year-old singer announced on her Instagram Stories that she was taken to the emergency room and is currently under medical care. As a result, Shakira has cancelled her concert in Lima, Peru, which was scheduled for today.

In a statement, Shakira expressed her disappointment at not being able to perform, citing her eagerness to reunite with her fans in Peru. However, her doctors have advised against it, citing her current health condition.Shakira remains hopeful that she will be discharged from the hospital and recover soon, enabling her to reschedule the concert. Her team and promoters are already working on a new date, which will be announced shortly.

Shakira extended her gratitude to her fans for their understanding and apologized for any inconvenience caused. She closed her statement with a heartfelt message, signing off with “Shak” and expressing her love for her fans.
