Faith Ekwebenam, representing Anambra State, has been crowned Miss International Nigeria 2025, earning the right to represent the country at the 63rd Miss International pageant in Tokyo, Japan, on 27 November 2025.

The grand finale, held on Sunday, featured a highly competitive lineup, but Ekwebenam’s poise and performance secured her the crown. Miss Lagos emerged first runner-up, while Miss Bauchi, Miss Edo, Miss Cross River, and Miss Nasarawa placed as second to fifth runners-up.

Her win continues Nigeria’s active presence on the Miss International stage, following Perpetual Ukadike’s participation in 2024. The pageant, regarded as one of the world’s “Big Four,” emphasizes cultural exchange, goodwill, and social advocacy alongside beauty and elegance.

In a remarkable coincidence, Anambra also produced the newly crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025, Onyinyechi Basil, in a separate contest held in Lagos. Basil triumphed over Miss Lagos, Damilola Bolarinde, with Miss Bayelsa, Fortune Kurobo, and Miss Ogun, Irene Ikediashi, finishing as runners-up.

The dual victories mark an unprecedented milestone, making Anambra the first state to simultaneously hold both the Miss International Nigeria and Miss Universe Nigeria titles.
