Two Nigerian Air Force pilots reportedly survived after an Alpha Jet crashed near Karabonde in Borgu LGA, Niger State. The incident was first reported by Lapai TV, which shared a brief update and video on its Facebook page on Saturday evening, noting the pilots’ survival but giving no details on their condition or the cause of the crash.

The Nigerian Air Force has not yet released an official statement regarding the crash or the aircraft’s operational status. A video obtained by SaharaReporters showed smoke rising from the crash site, raising concerns among local residents about the cause of the incident.
