Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe is currently receiving treatment for internal bleeding after sustaining injuries during a film shoot incident involving Zubby Michael. He revealed via Instagram that he was kicked in the chest during a scene, which he said was not part of the scripted action or directed by the filmmaker.

Although he avoided naming the actor directly, a behind-the-scenes video surfaced showing Zubby Michael jumping out of a vehicle, crossing a barricade, and kicking Nnadiekwe before walking into a building. Nnadiekwe described the attack as painful and unplanned, stating he had to handle medical treatment alone without help from the crew or production team.

He emphasized that all on-set physical actions should follow the director’s instructions to ensure safety. Highlighting the lack of insurance, medical aid, and safety measures on many film sets, he called on the industry to adopt better safety practices to prevent serious injuries.

Following his initial post, Nnadiekwe’s management confirmed that his condition deteriorated, requiring emergency hospitalization. A statement issued by his team identified Zubby Michael as the actor involved in the incident.
