AC Milan have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Bayer Leverkusen and Nigerian striker Victor Boniface for a transfer deal. The agreement includes a €5 million loan fee with a €24 million non-mandatory buy option, running until 2030. The move will be finalized once Boniface completes his medicals. The 24-year-old forward had limited playing time in the 2024/25 season, starting only 12 Bundesliga games, where he scored eight goals and provided one assist. In total, he netted 11 goals across all competitions.
Although his time at Leverkusen was marked by injuries and competition for places, Boniface played a key role in their recent Bundesliga campaigns. A previous transfer to Saudi side Al-Nassr collapsed earlier in the year, but AC Milan maintained interest.
At Milan, under coach Massimiliano Allegri, Boniface is expected to strengthen the attack with his physical presence, movement, and finishing ability as the club targets success in Serie A and European competitions. The official signing is expected in the coming days once his medical tests are completed.
