Media personality Toke Makinwa has welcomed her first child, a baby girl.The 40-year-old announced the news on Instagram on Thursday, describing it as the happiest moment of her life. She revealed her daughter’s name as Yakira Eliana Olakitan Iyanuoluwa Ikeoluwa Adunola, calling her “my purpose, my reason, my evidence.”
Overflowing with gratitude, Toke wrote: “My miracle is here. Every single detail, down to your fingers and toes, God heard my prayers. Meet my miracle, Yakira Eliana Precious, Beloved of great worth, my God has answered.”
Earlier this month, she had proudly shown off her baby bump after months of pregnancy rumors. Toke had often spoken about her strong desire for motherhood, even once joking with Afrobeats star Falz that she might consider surrogacy to avoid “ruining her shape.” She now says she has witnessed “the goodness of God” as she begins a new chapter with her daughter.
