Nigeria’s motorsport industry has achieved a significant milestone as Jamus Bashar Muhammad, widely known as Jaybash, won the East Africa Drift Championship held in Kenya. Representing Nigeria, Jaybash delivered an outstanding performance, securing First Position in the Pro Masters category, First Position overall in the East Africa Drift Championship, and earning the title of Nigerian Drift King. In a statement on Monday, the National Sports Commission described his victory as “a giant leap forward” for motorsport in Nigeria and a reflection of the nation’s expanding presence in diverse sporting fields.
