Comedian Michael Blackson has revealed that he welcomed two sons just weeks apart — one with his fiancée, Rada, and another with a longtime female friend. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Ghanaian-American comic admitted to the situation, expressing remorse while also declaring love for both of his newborn sons.
He shared that his older twin sons and even his mother only recently learned about his other baby, whom he had with his female friend. Blackson also disclosed that the revelation led to the end of his engagement, as Rada has since left him.
He wrote, “Good day to all my family, friends, and fans. The last few months, God has blessed me, but in blessing me came a lot of pain. Two months after Rada gave birth to little Mikey, a female friend I’ve known for over five years also gave birth to my son, King Kweku Blackson. My two boys have brought so much joy to my life but also caused me to lose my fiancée, Rada.
“Mikey was born Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and Kweku was born August 6, 2025. My apologies for waiting so long, but I didn’t know how to do it. My older twin boys, who are now 18, didn’t find out till last night, and even my own mom doesn’t know. I love kids, and I want to thank God for bringing me two more healthy boys.
“My apologies to Rada, and I hope she forgives me for the pain I’ve brought her. I’m going to be the best loving father in the world. To avoid turning into Nick Cannon or Elon Musk, I’m only dating women who ran out of period or had a hysterectomy. Swipe and meet Kweku.”
Back in August, Rada had opened up about struggling with postpartum depression and feeling abandoned while caring for their son alone. Blackson had responded by saying his main duty was to financially support their child’s lifestyle. When the couple welcomed their son on June 17, the comedian famously missed the birth because he left to get coffee and returned late. Later, both of them joked that it was for the best — with Rada saying his absence reduced her stress, and Blackson adding that he didn’t want to witness the actual delivery process.
