EFCC Declares Fargo Petroleum MD Seun Ogunbambo Wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Seun Ogunbambo, Managing Director of Fargo Petroleum and Gas Limited, wanted for allegedly defrauding the Nigerian government in an oil subsidy scam amounting to N976,653,110.28.

According to a statement signed by Dele Oyewale, EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Ogunbambo was on trial before the Lagos State High Court but disappeared after being granted bail.His co-defendants, Mamman Nasir Ali and Christian Taylor, were convicted and sentenced to 14 years imprisonment each on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

The EFCC described Ogunbambo as light complexioned and fluent in English and Yoruba. His last known address is 2 Olamiyuyan Crescent, Ikoyi, Lagos State. The Commission urged anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to contact any of its offices in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Gombe, Port Harcourt, Ib nadan, Benin, Kaduna, Sokoto, Makurdi, Ilorin, Maiduguri, Uyo, or Abuja.
