Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, emerged victorious over fellow artist Darlington Okoye, popularly called Speed Darlington, in a celebrity boxing match on Friday, securing the ‘Street King’ title.

The much-anticipated bout, themed *Chaos In The Ring*, was organized by Game Rush and Balmoral Promotions at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos. It followed a heated rivalry and series of social media clashes between the two entertainers.Portable clinched a decisive win, knocking out Speed Darlington with a technical knockout (TKO) in the first round. The match was officially backed by the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control, whose chairman, Rafiu Ladipo, attended the final weigh-in on Thursday.

Their beef began when Speed Darlington reportedly offered Portable N500,000 for a performance, an amount Portable deemed insulting, claiming his appearance fee is N20 million. He also accused Speed Darlington of exploiting his name for clout and denied having any personal ties with him.

This marks Portable’s second win in a celebrity boxing match, following his 2023 victory against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha in a four-round contest at Landmark Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos.
