President Tinubu Hails 2Face Idibia on His 50th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian music legend Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, on his 50th birthday, praising his patriotism and dedication to peace, unity, and good governance.In a message issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the President highlighted 2Baba’s immense contributions to the entertainment industry, describing him as a resilient and creative talent whose influence continues to inspire generations.

Tinubu noted that for over two decades, 2Baba has uplifted audiences with soulful music while proudly representing Nigeria on the global stage. He recalled how the hit song Arican Queen became an enduring classic that introduced the beauty of African music to the world and cemented Nigeria’s place on the global entertainment map.

The President prayed for greater joy, fulfilment, and good health for the singer in the years ahead.Idibia, a singer-songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist, rose to prominence with his solo debut album Face 2 Face in 2004. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential Afrobeats artists of all time for his role in shaping Nigerian pop music in the 2000s.
