Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olakulehin, Dies at 90

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has passed away at the age of 90. He reportedly died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, exactly one year after ascending the throne. Born on July 5, 1935, his death occurred just two days after his 90th birthday.

Oba Olakulehin was officially presented with the staff of office by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on July 12, 2024, becoming the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
