Air Peace has confirmed that it will resume all flight operations on Friday, April 25, 2025, following the suspension of the strike action by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) and affiliated aviation unions.

In a statement issued by Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace, the airline expressed gratitude to its customers for their patience and continued loyalty during the disruption. “We deeply appreciate your support, patience, and confidence in us throughout this challenging time. Your trust in our brand is invaluable,” the statement read.

The airline also acknowledged the crucial role played by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, in resolving the crisis. “Minister Keyamo’s prompt intervention, inclusive dialogue with stakeholders, and unwavering dedication to the sector’s stability were instrumental in ending the strike,” Air Peace noted.

The statement praised the minister’s leadership and vision, highlighting his commitment to fostering a more secure, efficient, and investor-attractive aviation environment in Nigeria.
