Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Handi, recently shared some candid insights about her twin sister and show partner, Wanni’s crush on Nigerian superstar Davido. During a conversation with fellow housemates Shaun and Wanni on Wednesday, Handi revealed that she had advised Wanni against pursuing a relationship with the singer, believing it would lack respect.
Wanni broached the topic delicately, referencing Davido with a popular line from his hit song ‘Champion Sound’ instead of mentioning his name directly.
“Let’s not call names but I told him [Shaun] about the situation with [sings the line from ‘Champion Sound’] ‘Take me away’. And he was like, that he would have been disappointed if I did something with him,” Wanni said.
Handi expressed her agreement, emphasizing her disapproval of Wanni’s interest in Davido. “Hmmm, me too o!” she exclaimed.
Shaun chimed in, agreeing with Handi’s perspective. “I don’t think it differently.”
Handi went on to recount a serious disagreement they had over the matter during their tour. “We fought seriously on our tour. It’s a different thing if you were in a relationship but for what? Because you have a crush on the person you just want to jump in. And the guy is bipolar as f*ck. I told her he won’t respect her.”
