Nigerian singer Davido became emotional while delivering a moving speech at the traditional wedding of his longtime manager and close friend, Asa Asika.

In the emotional video clip, Davido reflected on their 14-year journey, noting how many people had doubted their progress. Overwhelmed with emotion, he paused mid-speech in tears, with Asa and his bride stepping in to console him before he continued.

Referring to Asa as his “friend, brother, and manager,” Davido conveyed appreciation and pride in all they’ve accomplished together as leading figures in the music industry.
