Social media influencer Scott Iguma is set to be arraigned today, July 17, 2025, at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi on a 10-count charge.Iguma became widely known for his vocal campaign against real estate company PWAN, which began on May 7, 2025. In an Instagram video, he alleged that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had classified PWAN as a Ponzi scheme, urging Nigerians to avoid dealings with the firm.

On May 16, he revealed that he had taken alleged victims of PWAN and other real estate companies — including Deluxe Residences, Ochacho Real Homes, and Gtext Homes — to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). While some firms reportedly refunded their clients, Iguma claimed PWAN failed to do so. Since then, he has continued using his social media platform to share allegations of fraud involving the company.

One of the cases he highlighted involved a man who, despite making full payment since 2020, was allegedly denied allocation of six plots of land and a home by PWAN. Ahead of today’s court proceedings, Iguma was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.
