Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy and one half of the now-defunct Afrobeats duo P-Square, suffered an unexpected fall during a live performance in Perth, Australia. The singer was performing P-Square’s hit track “Forever” when he accidentally slipped off the stage, a moment that was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

The incident quickly sparked reactions online, with some Nigerians suggesting his dark sunglasses may have affected his visibility during the nighttime performance. Others linked the mishap to his split from his twin brother and former music partner, Peter Okoye, with many revisiting conversations about the duo’s separation.

DAILY POST recalls that Paul and Peter parted ways to pursue solo careers amid reported disagreements over financial accountability, royalty distribution, and the management of business structures connected to their music catalogue. Social media users reacted with mixed humour and criticism, with some joking about the stage fall while others suggested it reflected the absence of the synergy the brothers once shared as P-Square.
