Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been named the CAF Women’s National Team of the Year for the third consecutive year, taking home the award in 2023, 2024, and now 2025.The announcement was made during the prestigious ceremony held at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat, Morocco.

The Super Falcons edged out Ghana’s Black Queens and Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses to claim the award, following their record-extending 10th title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in August. President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, accepted the award on behalf of the team. With this latest recognition, the Super Falcons have reinforced their dominance in African women’s football, demonstrating unmatched consistency and strength on the continent.
