Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been taken into police custody following a heated online confrontation linked to her recent accusations against Lagos-based pastor Chris Okafor. The arrest was said to have occurred on Saturday, December 20, 2025, during a live video broadcast in which Ogala was interacting with an online personality.
During the livestream, the actress disclosed that police officers were already inside her residence. She was also heard reprimanding a woman identified as Charity for admitting people into the house despite prior instructions not to do so. At one point, the interviewer urged Ogala to keep her phone on and asked whether the officers had presented a warrant. Shortly after, comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Dee One announced on Instagram that the actress had been arrested.
He said he had previously warned Ogala and added that she would now be required to address the matter legally. The development followed a social media post by Ogala in which she shared an image allegedly showing the pastor in a private moment. In the post, she accused him of dishonesty and claimed to possess video evidence to support her allegations.
The issue drew wider attention after the cleric recently got married to a woman identified as Pearl earlier in the week. The wedding reportedly took place despite Ogala’s online claims, which included allegations of betrayal, emotional manipulation and a failed promise of marriage after what she described as a long-term relationship.
In recent days, Ogala had posted several emotional videos accusing the pastor of ruining her life. She alleged that the relationship began around 2017 and claimed she ended her previous marriage at his urging, only to be left devastated when the relationship abruptly ended.
