The Ekiti State native took a moment to thank her supporters, including Governor Oyebanji and his wife, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, for their unwavering support and encouragement.Chef Dammy gained widespread recognition after embarking on an ambitious 120-hour cookathon in her hometown of Ilupeju, Ekiti, starting on June 9, 2023. Over the course of four days, she prepared an impressive array of over 100 dishes, captivating the attention of Nigerians nationwide.

The cookathon sparked a mix of reactions on social media, with some questioning her ability to handle the financial demands and complete the challenge, while others admired her resilience and determination.

Chef Dammy’s attempt was inspired by Hilda Baci’s record-breaking 93-hour, 11-minute cook-off, which broke the previous record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon.
