Celebrity Chef Damilola Adeparusi, aka Chef Dammy, Expresses Gratitude as She Begins Culinary School Journey in Lagos.Chef Dammy recently shared a heartwarming moment on social media, donning her school uniform and recalling the compliments she received from her peers. This milestone marks a significant step towards her dream of becoming a professional chef.

She captioned the post: “My first time in school Uniform as a Proper Pro. Chef in the making. I ran back into the hostel to go and blush. Being my first time in the school uniform, so when I stepped out of the hostel “I started hearing Chef Dammy you’re finally wearing the uniform, so fine!!” so I ran back inside, took selfies and started blushing again.

“A big thank you to the @ofadaboy and the CEO @hbshotelschool_lagos for making this a reality. ( I could remember the day I called the CEO ‘Principal…). A big thank you to my darling Lawyer, she’s just too amazing. “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to His Excellency, Governor @biodunaoyebanji , and Her Excellency, Dr. @yemiboyebanji , for their unwavering support thus far.“A big thank you to all my Anonymous supporters, and to everyone still following and rooting for me!( my anonymous supporters are shy)

The Ekiti State native took a moment to thank her supporters, including Governor Oyebanji and his wife, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, for their unwavering support and encouragement.Chef Dammy gained widespread recognition after embarking on an ambitious 120-hour cookathon in her hometown of Ilupeju, Ekiti, starting on June 9, 2023. Over the course of four days, she prepared an impressive array of over 100 dishes, captivating the attention of Nigerians nationwide.

The cookathon sparked a mix of reactions on social media, with some questioning her ability to handle the financial demands and complete the challenge, while others admired her resilience and determination.

Chef Dammy’s attempt was inspired by Hilda Baci’s record-breaking 93-hour, 11-minute cook-off, which broke the previous record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon. Chef Dammy aimed to break the Guinness World Record in the most extended cooking category with a 120-hour target, adding to the wave of culinary achievements inspired by Hilda Baci’s feat.

Chef Dammy’s remarkable journey is a testament to her passion, dedication, and perseverance in pursuing her culinary dreams.
