Prophet Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach has publicly distanced himself from a woman who recently shared a false testimony at his church. The woman had claimed to have purchased a ₦500 million house, but it was later revealed that her testimony was fabricated.
In a viral video, Prophet Obi denied any personal connection to the woman and accused her of lying against God and the church’s altar. He explained that the woman had simply come forward to share her testimony, like many others, and that he had no prior relationship with her.Prophet Obi’s statement comes after the woman’s fabricated testimony sparked controversy online. The cleric’s swift response aims to clarify the situation and maintain the integrity of his ministry. By disowning the woman’s false testimony, Prophet Obi upholds the values of honesty and truthfulness that are essential to his faith.
He said, “I said it last month that my name would be all over the media. I said the media would be shaking, making it look real, but it’s all fake. “I heard from clergymen in the East that bloggers were sponsored. Now, do I know her? Does any member know her? She came to testify, just like hundreds of others who come here daily.“If the house she claimed to own is fake, then it is her who lied before God and His altar — not the ministry.”
