Actress Angela Okorie has adopted a reconciliatory tone following weeks of online controversy. In a reflective Instagram post shared today, she publicly apologised to Mercy Johnson and Senator Ned Nwoko, expressing regret over her previous statements.

Angela had earlier accused Mercy Johnson of being seriously ill and also made contentious remarks involving Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko. However, in her latest message, she said she had taken time to reflect and acknowledged that her emotional reactions were misplaced.

“I speak from the heart, especially when I feel hurt… but I realise now that my utterances, whether from pain or not, were hurtful,” she said, addressing Mercy Johnson directly and asking for forgiveness.

She extended a similar apology to Senator Nwoko, admitting that her public outburst, which she described as a response to an “unprovoked attack,” was inappropriate. “I deeply regret my actions and am sorry,” she wrote, noting that she had once supported his political campaign and attended his family’s events.

Angela also revealed she had been dealing with betrayal, lies, and online attacks, but said she has chosen to forgive and move forward. “Being at peace is better than war or fight,” she concluded.
