Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Galatasaray and Napoli are finalising the remaining details of Victor Osimhen’s transfer. As part of the agreement, the Turkish champions will pay Napoli €35 million over the course of a year as the second installment of the striker’s transfer.

Romano also revealed that Napoli included a penalty clause to prevent Galatasaray from transferring Osimhen to any Italian club within the next two years. While the primary terms are nearly settled, discussions are still ongoing regarding the final details and the inclusion of a sell-on clause. Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, has expressed his desire to remain at the club. The Nigerian international reportedly turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal in order to continue his career in Turkey.
