Nigeria’s D’Tigress have secured a spot in the semifinals of the 2025 AfroBasket Women Championship with a dominant 83-47 win over Cameroon in Abidjan on Wednesday.

The defending champions maintained full control throughout the quarterfinal encounter, continuing their unbeaten streak in Africa that dates back to 2017. Team captain Sarah Ogoke marked her return with a three-point shot, and all 12 squad members made it onto the scoreboard — highlighting the team’s impressive depth and unity. The victory moves Coach Rena Wakama’s team one step closer to retaining their title as they push toward another AfroBasket crown.
