Mark Zuckerberg surprised guests at his wife Priscilla Chan’s 40th birthday celebration by ditching his usual casual attire for a sparkling blue jumpsuit. The Facebook founder and Meta CEO recreated Benson Boone’s memorable Grammys outfit, eliciting laughter and applause from the crowd.
Zuckerberg made a grand entrance in a tuxedo, only to dramatically reveal the jumpsuit underneath. With the help of two assistants, he tore away the tuxedo to unveil the shimmering blue outfit, mirroring Boone’s own reveal during his performance of “Beautiful Things” at the Grammy Awards.
The Meta CEO then sang for his wife, making the surprise even more special. Reportedly, Zuckerberg didn’t just replicate the look – he wore the exact same jumpsuit Boone sported on stage, as confirmed by a Meta staffer. Chan also shared highlights from her birthday bash on social media, showcasing the festivities, her outfit changes, and her husband’s unique performance.
Soon after sharing the clip, Zuckerberg got a response from Boone himself, saying ,”I can’t believe my eyes.”
“Your wife only turns 40 once! Shoutout to Benson Boone for the jumpsuit and new single,” Zuckerberg wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, which quickly went viral.
Zuckerberg replied, “I thought about doing a flip off the piano too” Apart from Boone, Lauren Sánchez who is the fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos commented on Zuckerberg’s post.
“This is amazing! Wow” she said, with Zuckerberg replying with “Raising Hands Emoji” used to express joy, success, or approval.
