Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has intensified his clash with social media critic Verydarkman (VDM), taking their feud from online spats to musical diss tracks.

According to a report by Legit.ng, both Portable and VDM have released diss songs aimed at each other, addressing personal accusations and trading insults that have escalated in recent weeks. The dispute reportedly began when Portable criticized VDM in a video for his persistent attacks on President Bola Tinubu regarding Nigeria’s economic situation. He also accused VDM of using the death of late singer Mohbad to chase clout, noting that despite the attention drawn to the case, no justice had been served.

VDM fired back with a track titled “Ole” (Yoruba for “thief”), mocking Portable and alluding to past allegations against the singer, including accusations of theft. Escalating the beef further, VDM shared a resurfaced video from 2020 in which Portable was allegedly assaulted by a mob over claims of stealing a mobile phone and tricycle.

In retaliation, Portable unearthed and shared old personal videos of VDM in an attempt to ridicule him online. The fiery exchange has ignited conversations across social media, with fans and observers picking sides and debating who is dominating the battle in what’s become one of the most talked-about digital showdowns in Nigerian entertainment.
