Multiple sources in Italy and Turkey report that Napoli and Galatasaray are finalising paperwork to complete the transfer of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen. Journalists Fabrizio Romano and Yağız Sabuncuoğlu confirm that the deal is at the signing stage, with legal teams working to conclude the transaction before the weekend ends.

Earlier this week, both clubs reached a final agreement after extended negotiations. Galatasaray had already accepted the €75 million asking price, but discussions continued over payment structure, instalment timelines, and financial guarantees.

The final terms will see Galatasaray pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be settled in instalments by the end of 2026. Napoli will also receive up to €5 million in performance-related bonuses and retain a 10% sell-on clause.

Osimhen, who spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Galatasaray, officially leaves Napoli after five years. During his time at the club, he scored 65 goals in 108 Serie A appearances and won the Capocannoniere title in the 2022-23 season as Napoli secured their first league title since the Diego Maradona era. While on loan in Istanbul, Osimhen delivered a prolific campaign, netting 37 goals and providing eight assists across 41 matches in all competitions.
