Popular Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau has tied the knot with an as-yet-unnamed partner in a private nikkah ceremony held on Saturday. The intimate wedding reportedly took place at the Atiku Auwal Mosque in Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna, with clerics and close family members present for the prayer session.
Sadau confirmed the marriage in an Instagram post later that day, sharing moments from the event, including scenes of her celebrating with her sisters and close friends during the festivities. Her wedding follows years of criticism from some Arewa fans who have disapproved of her dressing and flamboyant fashion style, saying it contrasts with traditional northern theatre norms.
