Nollywood filmmaker and realtor, Funke Akindele, recently shared her thoughts on feminism, sparking a lively conversation on social media. In a viral clip, Funke Akindele declared herself a feminist, emphasizing that women deserve respect and equal treatment.

However, she also stressed that feminism should not be used as an excuse for women to disrespect their husbands. Instead, Funke Akindele advocated for mutual respect and equality in relationships.

The actress rejected the idea that a woman’s place is in the kitchen, believing that women can achieve anything they set their minds to. She also touched on gender disparity, emphasizing that women are not the weaker gender and should be treated with dignity and respect.

Funke Akindele’s comments were met with support from her colleague, Kamo State, who expressed his admiration for her views. However, when Kamo State stated that he hates men, Funke Akindele disagreed, emphasizing that men and women should respect each other.
