Media personality Toke Makinwa has shared that if she had remarried, it likely would have ended in divorce.

Speaking candidly about her life at 40 as a single, childless woman, she revealed that she has come to accept her journey and prioritize her accomplishment. In a recent episode of her podcast, Makinwa admitted to once feeling pressured about not having a partner or children at her age but has since learned to embrace her reality.

Reflecting on her past experiences, she acknowledged that personal growth is a continuous process and believes her second marriage would not have lasted.Rather than focusing on societal expectations, Makinwa is celebrating her achievements—building a successful media career, becoming one of Africa’s most influential voices, and maintaining good health.
