Sanwo-Olu chairs entertainment committee for National Women Mega Rally. Organisers of the National Women Mega Empowerment and Rally 2026 have unveiled a high-profile entertainment committee led by Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu ahead of the May 5 event scheduled to hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium. The initiative, linked to the office of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, announced the development via its official Instagram platform.
According to organisers, the committee will oversee cultural and creative activities at the rally, which is themed “The Power of 10 Million: One Voice! One Movement!! One Choice!!!” and is expected to attract millions of women from across the country.
They described the gathering as more than just an entertainment event, but a unifying movement aimed at celebrating women, promoting culture and inspiring national cohesion through creativity. The committee features a mix of government officials and entertainment figures. Co-chairpersons include Hannatu Musa Musawa, Rachael Umahi, Ramatu Tijani, Rahama Sadau, Eniola Badmus, Ngozi Okoh and Tola Akerele.
Members of the entertainment committee include notable Nollywood personalities such as Joke Silva, Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele, Fausat Balogun, Toyin Adegbola, Remi Oshodi, Fathia Balogun, Eniola Ajao, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan, Madam Saje, Toyosi Adesanya, Funke Adesiyan, Chief Rita Daniels and Aisha Augie, among others. The organisers noted that the diverse lineup reflects the scale and ambition of the rally, positioning it as a major cultural and social event focused on women’s empowerment across Nigeria.
