American rapper Lil Nas X has been charged with four felonies after allegedly injuring police officers during a nude incident on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles last week. Police say the artist, legally known as Montero Lamar Hill, rushed at officers after they responded to reports of a naked man in the early hours of Thursday. According to law enforcement, he struck one officer in the face twice before being subdued and transported to a hospital.Court documents filed Monday show Hill is facing three counts of battery on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest. He pleaded not guilty during his court appearance and was released on \$75,000 bail under conditional terms.

His lawyer, Christine O’Connor, told the court that Hill has no prior criminal record, poses no flight risk, and has strong ties to the community. She stressed there is no evidence of drug use so far and described the incident as “an absolute aberration” in his life. As part of his release conditions, Hill must attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings a week or enroll in an outpatient program. His next hearing is scheduled for September 15.
