Yerins Abraham, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has revealed that he is now engaged to his partner, Sarah Oba. Sharing the news on Instagram on Friday, he posted loved-up photos from the proposal, which took place in a lush green valley. The couple appeared in coordinated white outfits, posing against a calm outdoor backdrop.
He described the proposal as one of the most important choices he has ever made, expressing deep commitment to their relationship. “A single YES marked the start of our forever. Miles away from home… in a moment I can hardly explain, yet fully understand its significance. I slipped the ring onto your finger, rose to my feet, and embraced you,” he wrote. “Everything seemed to pause at that point. The wind was blowing, the camera kept clicking, but I heard nothing.
“In that quiet, I experienced a level of joy and peace I never knew was possible. It felt like I had made one of the best decisions of my life. I didn’t know such a feeling existed, but it did, and it was overwhelming. “I am completely committed. To everything that loving you brings, and everything that forever holds. This is just the start of our journey, the first chapter of forever for Yerins Abraham and Sarah Oba.”
Yerins gained recognition during the 2021 BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season, where he often took on the role of the house’s medical doctor when situations required. Following his time on the show, he ventured into music with the release of his single ‘I’m Fine’. That same year, he also made his acting debut in the film ‘Okirika’.
