Afrobeats artist Rema has joined forces with South Korean pop star LISA and Brazilian vocalist Anitta for “Goals,” the newest single from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album. The song premiered on Thursday through SALXCO UAM and Def Jam Recordings across all major streaming networks, alongside an official music video.
Crafted by Grammy-winning producer Cirkut, the track blends elements of Afrobeats, K-pop, and Latin pop.FIFA stated that the album acts as a shared space where music and athletics meet, linking supporters, communities, and melodies globally. As the Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album expands, it unites voices from various continents and musical styles, mirroring the magnitude and influence of the competition. The world football governing body noted that the initiative reflects the energy and diversity of international football, functioning as a unifying stage where music and sport converge to connect fans, cultures, and rhythms worldwide.
Responding to the joint effort, Rema called the song a historic milestone for global music, noting that combining their distinct sounds across three continents on a single track represents a major occasion for the international music scene. LISA added that contributing to the Official FIFA World Cup Album was a thrilling adventure. She expressed that participating in this year’s Official FIFA World Cup Album was highly rewarding, adding that because music consistently brings people together globally, collaborating with Anitta and Rema was a privilege.Anitta associated her participation with a profound individual bond with the competition.
She explained that her relationship with the World Cup is intensely sentimental, mentioning that as a Brazilian, she naturally holds great memories of the event.She expressed that adding to its legacy by working with LISA and Rema on “Goals” is remarkably meaningful, and she feels highly appreciative of the chance. The three artists are scheduled to give their debut live performance of “Goals” at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony at Los Angeles Stadium on June 12, prior to the opening game for the United States. “Goals” represents the fifth track put out from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album, coming after “Lighter,” “Por Ella,” “Echo,” and “Illuminate.” The competition kicks off on June 12 with games hosted throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
