Iran has reportedly stepped up retaliatory attacks on Israel and United States targets in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq, according to state media. Officials in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait reported intercepting additional Iranian missiles amid the escalation.

Meanwhile, Israel has launched renewed strikes on Iran and Lebanon, with the Israeli military stating that it is targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Beirut. US Central Command said American forces have “eliminated” 16 Iranian mine-laying ships following warnings from Donald Trump not to deploy mines in the Strait of Hormuz would be treated “in the same way we deal with the enemy.”

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the “people of Iran” on X, urging them to “remove the Ayatollah regime and gain your freedom.” As Iranians flee across the border into Turkey, some described the impact of the US-Israeli strikes. One woman told the BBC it “felt like we were dying,” while another recounted a blast so powerful it “threw me back.”
