A security agency in Anambra State has declared a new policy aimed at enforcing a strict dress code for women in public. According to the agency, women spotted without undergarments, including bras and panties, will be arrested.

The announcement was made publicly through a loudspeaker by a representative of the agency. In a video circulating online, the announcer attributed the directive to Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

The policy also targets women wearing only panties in public, who will also face arrest. The video has elicited varied reactions from the public, sparking debate and discussion.

The announcement has raised concerns about personal freedom and the role of law enforcement in regulating individual choices. Others have expressed support for the policy, citing concerns about public decency.
