Boluwatife Balogun, known as Champz and the 14-year-old son of music star Wizkid, has become the youngest Nigerian artist to surpass one million monthly listeners on Spotify.

The milestone follows the release of his debut EP, “Champion’s Arrival,” a five-track project blending rap, afro-swing, and Afrobeats, which has been gaining international attention. The EP debuted at No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Albums chart, charted in 16 countries, and reached No. 71 on the UK Apple Music Top Albums chart. Champz’s mother, Sola Ogudu, thanked fans for their support, while Wizkid praised his son’s talent and expressed his admiration for the EP.
