Upon arrival, the soldiers engaged the assailants, who fled towards Baduru Sama in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In the course of the pursuit, the troops reestablished contact with the fleeing militants, resulting in the neutralization of one militia member.Subsequent operations led to the arrest of two individuals, identified as 40-year-old Sani Adamu and 20-year-old Buhari Mohammed, who are suspected to be members of a local bandit group. Additionally, the troops recovered 42 stolen cows and N20,200 from the neutralized suspect.
